Our laboratory accepts undergraduate, graduate students, and research students at Okayama University. Affiliations of the students are as follows.


For prospective undergraduate students

Undergrad students undertaking the Information Technology Track or Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering at Okayama University will have a choice to be part of our laboratory when they are 4th grade students.

Prospective undergrad students can attend the laboratory introduction activities to understand the research directions and topics of our laboratory. If you wish to visit our laboratory, please feel free to contact us.


For prospective graduate students:

Master’s course: Graduate students (master’s course) who wish to join our laboratory need to pass the entrance examination of the graduate school.

Doctoral course: If you already possess a Master’s degree, you can enter the Doctoral course at the graduate school. Before applying for admission to the Doctoral course, please contact us in advance and discuss your research background and interests.

For prospective research students

The standard period of enrollment as a research student is six months to one year, but we are flexible depending on individual circumstances.

Applicants (with the aim of entering a graduate program) are required to have a language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1 for Japanese and a TOEFL iBT score of 85 or higher for English. To apply, please send your CV, research plan, and other relevant documents to the faculty member in charge. After receiving the documents, we may conduct an interview via email or online meeting if necessary. In such cases, we will contact you within two weeks of receiving your materials.

Please note that we may not be able to respond if the language requirements are not met or if the submitted documents are incomplete.
